It’s about people…

…and their wellbeing. The vibrancy and health of a local community is as important today as it’s ever been. Opportunities for young people to get involved with community sport provide immense health benefits, both physical and mental. Getting more active, getting away from the screen, just having some regular time outdoors – your donation helps provide these opportunities.

And it’s not just for the young. SCC provides cricketing opportunities for all age-groups, and offers the chance to get involved with the local community through a variety of jobs and duties that help the Club run smoothly. By all means get in touch if this sounds like something you’d be interested in doing too.

Where will your money be spent?

Your donation will go towards vital equipment for the youth cricket teams, and for coaching and helping children achieve the best that they can become through cricket. Equipment includes kit, cricket bats, balls and other necessary items for training and matches. Donations also help to maintain Club facilities, such as the upkeep of the pavilion by The Green, or maintenance of the nets and cricket pitches themselves, or towards the new facilities at Buckingham Park.

If you want to know in more detail, get in touch and we’ll tell you exactly how your donation helps – rest assured it will be for a good cause.

Thank you!
